The overall national achievement rate for 2010 is 67.8%. this is an increase of 7.2 % compared to 2009.
Gauteng has the highest achievement rate in the country, with achievement of 78.6% that is 72 538 candidates
passing . the Western cape and north West were second and third with achievement rates of 76.8% and 75.7%
