Of 6 516 schools, 18 (0.3%) schools had no learner passing (0%) in 2010 NSC examinations, whilst 504 (7.7%) achieved 100% pass rate. Thirty eight percent
of the schools obtained a pass rate of below 60%, which is still a matter of serious concern. This is an area that will be the focus of the interventions in 2011 and
beyond .
