Situated on the corner of Heatherton Road and Springvale Road, the
Waltzing Matilda Hotel offers a new and innovative look
for your next function.
With friendly staff and a modern environment the hotel presents three
generous rooms starting from the Banksia Foyer, Banksia Room and the
Opal Room.
Our Function Rooms can cater for virtually any occasion ranging from
weddings, engagements, birthday celebrations, Christmas parties,
corporate functions and social events.
We can tailor a complete package to cater for your needs, with a large
range of menu options.
Our highly experienced chefs can cater for cocktail parties, buffet
carvery, sit-down menus and corporate meetings.

Terms & Conditions
Deposit:
A $300 deposit including a signed terms and conditions form is required to secure your
Function date.
Security:
Security is a mandatory requirement for all Functions over 50 people.
Function Times:
All Functions are a maximum of 5 hours in duration
Banksia Room: Until 1am
Opal Room: Until 3am (Fri. & Sat.) and until 12am (Sun. – Thurs.)
Access to Function Rooms is available 2 hours prior to the start of the Function.
Final Numbers & Payment:
Final numbers & payment is due 7 days prior to your Function.
Please note methods of payment: Credit card, Bank Cheque or Cash.
(Personal Cheques are not accepted)
Security Bond:
A $500 security bond is required 5 days prior to your Function via cash or credit card preauthorization
and fully refunded after a full inspection of the premise is concluded by
management. Any loss or damage to the Hotel property will result in full loss of bond.
• No food or beverage of any kind will be permitted to be brought into The Waltzing
Matilda Hotel for consumption at the Function by the organiser with the exception of a
celebration cake.
• Management reserves the right to exclude or eject any objectionable persons without
liability.
