THE THE AREA AREA 13 13 13 QUIZ QUIZ and and THE THE BLUE CROSS HORSE HORSE & PONY CARE COMPETITION COMPETITION Saturday aturday 18 18 FFebruary F ebruary 2012, Lower Peake, Warnford T hese take place on Saturday 18 February 2012 at Lower Peake, Warnford. The Area 13 National Quiz (sponsored by the NFU Mutual) takes place in the morning with The Blue Cross Horse and Pony care (practical, unmounted) in the afternoon. The age criteria are below, but if you would like to take part, we would love to have you; let me know. I will sort the teams according to age. We will have some practise sessions beforehand so you will be well prepared. The teams are great fun and no pressure. The The Blue Blue Cross Cross Horse Horse & & Pony Pony Care Care Competition Competition Junior Teams – three members; need to be 13 or under on 1 January 2012, with at least one member 11 years and under on 1 January 2012. Knowledge at ‘D’ to ‘C’. Senior teams – three members; between 14 and 20 years on 1 January 2012, with at least one member 16 years and under on 1st January 2012. Knowledge at ‘C+’ to ‘AH’. The winners compete at the final at The Pony Club Championships in August 2012 at Cholmondeley Castle, Cheshire, 16 - 19 August 2012.
