Description: The ARWEN 37 mm is a less-lethal, five-shot semiautomatic revolver shoulder
weapon designed as an antiriot weapon.
Operational Capability/Use: The ARWEN can be used for intervention in riots (civil/custody)
and cell extractions, selective removal of leaders or instigators in disturbances or riots, and
selective intervention in use-of-force situations where escalation of force is necessary. Although
considered less than lethal, the ARWEN can inflict serious or fatal injuries if improperly used.
SAGE SL–6 ® 37 mm Weapon System
