CONDITIONAL USE<br />

In additi<strong>on</strong> <str<strong>on</strong>g>to</str<strong>on</strong>g> permitted uses in each of the eight land use z<strong>on</strong>es, c<strong>on</strong>diti<strong>on</strong>al uses may be<br />

allowed by the GLUC. An applicati<strong>on</strong> for proposed c<strong>on</strong>diti<strong>on</strong>al use (see C<strong>on</strong>diti<strong>on</strong>al Use<br />

form) must be submitted in 29 copies and requires a descripti<strong>on</strong> of the proposed<br />

c<strong>on</strong>diti<strong>on</strong>al use; a map depicting all existing structures and uses <strong>on</strong> the subject property; a<br />

map depicting all significant building and uses within 750 feet of the subject property‟s<br />

boundary; and a written statement explaining the compatibility of the proposed<br />

c<strong>on</strong>diti<strong>on</strong>al use with neighboring developments.<br />

(C<strong>on</strong>diti<strong>on</strong>al Use fee omitted/deleted. See Sect. 61660, 21 GCA).<br />

The c<strong>on</strong>diti<strong>on</strong>al uses for each z<strong>on</strong>e are as follows.<br />

“A” - Rural Z<strong>on</strong>e C<strong>on</strong>diti<strong>on</strong>al Uses<br />

1. Parks, playgrounds and community centers.<br />

2. Biological gardens<br />

3. Schools and churches.<br />

4. Hospitals, sanitariums, and instituti<strong>on</strong>al uses.<br />

5. Cemeteries.<br />

6. Recreati<strong>on</strong>al uses including golf courses, cockpits, marinas, beaches, swimming<br />

pools, and accessory residential and commercial uses.<br />

7. Extractive industry.<br />

8. Utilities and public facilities.<br />

9. Wholesale and retail s<str<strong>on</strong>g>to</str<strong>on</strong>g>res, shops and businesses.<br />

10. Au<str<strong>on</strong>g>to</str<strong>on</strong>g>mobile service stati<strong>on</strong>s, including service shops.<br />

11. Accessory uses and structures for the above.<br />

“R-1” - Single-Family Dwelling Z<strong>on</strong>e C<strong>on</strong>diti<strong>on</strong>al Uses<br />

1. Duplexes.<br />

2. Schools and churches.<br />

3. Parks, playgrounds, and community centers.<br />

4. Health service office, outpatient with labora<str<strong>on</strong>g>to</str<strong>on</strong>g>ry.<br />

5. Utilities and public facilities.<br />

“R-2” - Multiple-Family Dwelling Z<strong>on</strong>e C<strong>on</strong>diti<strong>on</strong>al Uses<br />

1. Any c<strong>on</strong>diti<strong>on</strong>al uses permitted in the “R-1” z<strong>on</strong>e.<br />

2. Health clinics.<br />

3. Utilities and public facilities.<br />

4. Air, bus, taxi, au<str<strong>on</strong>g>to</str<strong>on</strong>g>, rental terminals.<br />

5. Accessory uses and structures for the above.<br />
