Making ice cubes<br />

Switching the ice cube maker<br />

OFF<br />

If you do not want the appliance to<br />

make any ice cubes, the ice cube<br />

maker <strong>ca</strong>n be switched off<br />

independently of the <strong>freezer</strong> section.<br />

Press the ON/OFF button on the ice<br />

cube maker until the indi<strong>ca</strong>tor light<br />

goes out.<br />

If the ice cube maker is switched off,<br />

the ice cube drawer <strong>ca</strong>n be used for<br />

freezing <strong>and</strong> storing food.<br />

Clean the ice cube drawer if the ice<br />

cube maker is going to be switched<br />

off for an extended period of time!<br />

Setting the water inlet time<br />

The size of the ice cubes that are<br />

produced depends on the water<br />

pressure <strong>and</strong> the water inlet time that is<br />

set.<br />

For instance, if the ice cube maker<br />

produces small ice cubes then your<br />

water pressure is low. To produce<br />

larger ice cubes, the water inlet time<br />

must be prolonged:<br />

Switch the ice cube maker on.<br />

Touch the button <strong>and</strong> keep your<br />

finger on the button.<br />

Now tap once on the ON/OFF button<br />

(WITHOUT releasing the button!).<br />

Keep your finger on the button for<br />

another 5 seconds until c is<br />

displayed.<br />

Keep tapping the button until e is<br />

displayed.<br />

Tap the ON/OFF button to confirm.<br />

Keep tapping the button until e2is<br />

displayed.<br />

Tap the ON/OFF button again to<br />

confirm.
