Call Customer Service.<br />

. . . the ice cube maker will not switch<br />

on?<br />

Check that the appliance is<br />

connected to the power supply.<br />

. . . the ice cube maker is not<br />

producing any ice cubes?<br />

Was the water supply line purged of<br />

air before the appliance was used for<br />

the first time?<br />

Check that the ice cube maker is<br />

switched on.<br />

Check that the <strong>freezer</strong> section is<br />

switched on.<br />

Check that the water supply valve is<br />

open.<br />

Check that the ice cube drawer is<br />

completely closed.<br />

Remember that it <strong>ca</strong>n take up to 24<br />

hours for the first ice cubes to be<br />

produced.<br />

. . . the ice cube maker is producing<br />

only small ice cubes?<br />

Various sizes of ice cubes are<br />

produced within a certain period of<br />

time, depending on the water pressure.<br />

For instance if the ice cube maker only<br />

produces small ice cubes, then your<br />

water pressure is low.<br />

Increase the water inlet time (see<br />

"Making ice cubes").<br />

. . . the indi<strong>ca</strong>tor light on the ice cube<br />

maker is flashing?<br />

The ice cube tray is in the cleaning<br />

position (see "Cleaning <strong>and</strong> <strong>ca</strong>re").<br />

If that is not the reason, then there is a<br />

problem.<br />

Call Customer Service.<br />

. . . the appliance <strong>ca</strong>nnot be switched<br />

off?<br />

The safety lock is activated.<br />

. . . the interior lighting in the<br />

refrigerator section is not working?<br />

Was the appliance door left open for<br />

a long time? The lighting<br />

automati<strong>ca</strong>lly switches off if the door<br />

has been open for approx. 15<br />

minutes.<br />

If that is not the reason, then the interior<br />

lighting is defective.<br />

Unplug the appliance, or turn off<br />

respective circuit breaker of the<br />

house wiring system.<br />

Remove the front panel.
