Main Window<br />

the <strong>Smart</strong><strong>Linker</strong> option settings speci fied in the <strong>Smart</strong><strong>Linker</strong> dialog boxes<br />

Configuration files are text files, which have standard extension .ini. The user can<br />

define as many configuration files as required for his project, and can switch<br />

between the different configuration files using the File | Load Configuration and<br />

File | Save Configuration menu entry or the corresponding tool bar buttons. Table<br />

2.1 describes the menu items with their description.<br />

Menu Item Description<br />

Link Opens a standard Open File box, displaying the list<br />

of all the .prm files in the project directory. The input<br />

file can be selected using the features from the<br />

standard Open File box. The selected file will be<br />

linked as soon as the open File box is closed using<br />

OK.<br />

New/Default<br />

Configuration<br />

Resets the <strong>Smart</strong><strong>Linker</strong> option settings to the default<br />

value. The <strong>Smart</strong><strong>Linker</strong> options, which are activated<br />

per default, are specified in section Command Line<br />

Options from this document.<br />

Load Configuration Opens a standard Open File box, displaying the list<br />

of all the .INI files in the project directory. The<br />

configuration file can be selected using the features<br />

from the standard Open File box. The configuration<br />

data stored in the selected file is loaded and will be<br />

used by a further link session.<br />

Save Configuration Saves the current settings in the configuration file<br />

specified on the title bar.<br />

Save Configuration as... Opens a standard Save As box, displaying the list of<br />

all the .INI files in the project directory. The name or<br />

location of the configuration file can be specified<br />

using the features from the standard Save As box.<br />

The current settings are saved in the specified file as<br />

soon as the save As box is closed clicking OK<br />
