SECTION (7): PREVENTATIVE MEASURES<br />
Respiratory Protection:<br />
If exposed to vapours or mists, and depending on the exposure level, wear an<br />
approved half-face or full face dust/mist and organic vapour respirator.<br />
Engineering Controls:<br />
Good general ventilation or local exhaust ventilation for product used in confined<br />
areas.<br />
Protective Gloves:<br />
Nitrile, neoprene or viton gloves.<br />
Eye Protection:<br />
Use Chemical goggles, <strong>safety</strong> goggles or face shield.<br />
Disposal Procedures for Spills or Leaks:<br />
Wear protective equipment. Extinguish all nearby sources of ignition. Keep <strong>material</strong><br />
away from sewers. Dike and contain large spills. Pump spill into an approved,<br />
flammable waste container. For small spills soak up with a suitable absorbent such as<br />
clay, soil, or commercially available absorbents and scoop int an approved flammable<br />
waste container.<br />
Waste Disposal Method:<br />
Reuse if possible, or otherwise dispose of in accordance with all local, provincial or<br />
federal regulations.<br />
Storage and Handling Procedures:<br />
Use good industrial hygiene. Avoid contact with skin, eyes and clothing. Avoid<br />
breathing vapours or mists. Use with adequate ventilation. Store in a cool dry place<br />
away from all sources of ignition and incompatibles. Keep container tightly closed<br />
when not in use. Use proper grounding procedures when handling. Empty container<br />
may contain flammable residues/vapours. Store at temperatures below 30 o C.<br />
