SECTION (7): PREVENTATIVE MEASURES
Respiratory Protection:
If exposed to vapours or mists, and depending on the exposure level, wear an
approved half-face or full face dust/mist and organic vapour respirator.
Engineering Controls:
Good general ventilation or local exhaust ventilation for product used in confined
areas.
Protective Gloves:
Nitrile, neoprene or viton gloves.
Eye Protection:
Use Chemical goggles, safety goggles or face shield.
Disposal Procedures for Spills or Leaks:
Wear protective equipment. Extinguish all nearby sources of ignition. Keep material
away from sewers. Dike and contain large spills. Pump spill into an approved,
flammable waste container. For small spills soak up with a suitable absorbent such as
clay, soil, or commercially available absorbents and scoop int an approved flammable
waste container.
Waste Disposal Method:
Reuse if possible, or otherwise dispose of in accordance with all local, provincial or
federal regulations.
