Open Stance<br />
An open stance is used when attempting to kick of the back leg turning,<br />
hook or axe kicks, the back leg is positioned so it is in line with the target.<br />
Lead Leg Side Kick/ Turning kick<br />
From a side on stance a lead leg<br />
side kick or turning kick can be<br />
easily executed.<br />
Both these kicks are excellent<br />
range finders when thrown at mid<br />
section level and can open the<br />
gaps for the main techniques to<br />
follow.<br />
Lead leg side kick can also be used as a<br />
defensive as you can keep an opponent at<br />
distance by checking their advance.<br />
Back Fist / Reverse Punch<br />
Can be used as single techniques or in a combination when following up from a lead leg<br />
kick. The reverse punch can be used to cover up back leg turning kicks / hook kicks or<br />
axe kicks.<br />
