AMIDAH Shemoneh Esrei:
1. Blessed are You הוהי our G-d and G-d of our Fathers,
G-d, Father of Nations (םהרבא) 1 , G-d of Brightness
(קחצי) 2 , and G-d of the Remnant (בקעי) 3 , great and mighty
and awesome G-d who bestows abundant grace and creates
all things and remembers the promises of grace to
the fathers and brings a redeemer to their children’s children
for the sake of His Name out of love. O King, who
brings help and salvation and who is our shield. Blessed
are You, הוהי, shield of Abraham.
2. You are Almighty for ever, who makes the
dead alive in the promised resurrection. You are mighty
to help, You who sustains the living out of grace, makes
the dead alive out of great mercy, supports those who
fall, heals the sick, frees the captive, and keeps Your word
faithfully to them who sleep in the dust. And who is like
You, L-rd of mighty deeds and who is comparable to You,
King, who makes dead and alive and causes help to spring
forth. And You are faithful to make the dead alive in the
promised resurrection. Blessed are You, הוהי who makes
the dead alive in the promised resurrection.
3. You are Holy and Your name הוהי is Holy and
the holy praise You every day. Blessed are You הוהי, Holy
G-d.
4. You grant knowledge to mankind and teach
men understanding. Grant us the knowledge, understanding
and discernment (which come) from You.
Blessed are You, הוהי, who grants knowledge.
5. Lead us back, our Father, to Your Torah; and
bring us, our King, to Your service, and cause us to return
in perfect repentance to Your presence. Blessed are You,
הוהי, who delights in repentance.
6. Forgive us, our Father, for we have sinned; par-

don us, our King, for we have transgressed. For You forgive
and pardon. Blessed are You, הוהי, gracious, rich in
forgiveness.
7. Look on our affliction and plead our cause,
and redeem us speedily for His Name’s sake; for You are a
mighty Redeemer. Blessed are You, הוהי Redeemer, [and]
G-d of Healing (לארשי).
8. Heal us, O הוהי and we shall be healed, save us
and we shall be saved; for You are our praise. And bring
perfect healing to all our wounds. For You are a G-d and
King who heals, faithful and merciful. Blessed are You
הוהי, who heals the sick of Your people, [who are fim believers
in the] G-d of Healing (לארשי) 4 .
9. Bless this year for us, הוהי our G-d, and cause
all its produce to prosper; and bless the land; and satisfy
us with goodness; and bless our year as the good years.
Blessed are You הוהי, who blesses the years.
10. Proclaim our liberation with the great shofar
(trumpet), and raise a banner to gather together our
dispersed, and assemble us from the four corners of the
earth. Blessed are You, הוהי, who gathers the banished of
[believers of] G-d of Healing (לארשי).
11. Restore our judges as in former times and our
counselors as in the beginning; and take from us sorrow
and sighing; and reign over us, You L-rd alone, in grace
and mercy; justify us in judgment. Blessed are You, הוהי,
King who loves justice and judgment.
12. Over the righteous and over the pious; and
over the elders of thy people of the house of [believers
of] G-d of Healing (לארשי); and over the remnant of their
Torah scholars; and over the righteous proselytes; and
over us, may Your mercy shower down, הוהי our G-d. And
give a rich reward to all who faithfully trust in Name. And
cause our portion to be with them forever, that we may
