The Field Hockey season started off with
great success. The team was victorious in
their first and second games against Sydenham
and KCVI. With the coaching of Mr. Kallevig
and Mr. Brady, the team had an exciting season.
The girls competed against many exceptionally
talented teams and showed rivals what Crusaders
are made of. The team’s legendary counter-attacks
drove them to the forefront of the competition,
sticking them in a neck-and-neck match against
their biggest rival: the Frontenac Falcons. The
girls set a Holy Cross record, becoming first Field
Hockey team to finish the season in first place.
With a high level of fresh talent, Coach Kallevig
looks forward to what the future holds for the
Crusaders’ Field Hockey team.
