SENIOR PROM WORKERS
UPCOMING NEWS AND EVENTS
Remember: You do not need to have kids who are seniors, you do not need experience, you do not need to
have every night free, you do not even need to be in the Pennsbury district. We welcome all sincere help.
All of you who helped last year did a fabulous job. You are welcome to come back this year even though
your seniors are gone. It is fun, it is challenging and you will love it.
When: Monday through Friday from 7 - 9 pm, in the main hallway and 6 – 9 pm in the upstairs
hallway at the East building. Come one night or all for one hour or three.
SOCIAL STUDIES TRIP:
Your child can experience the history, art and culture of Scotland and England this summer. The Social
Studies Dept. is sponsoring a Humanities Trip to Europe in July, 2010. We will be visiting London, York,
Edinburgh, and the Lake District. Interested students should see Mrs. Minor in B122 at West for more
information.
Class of 2011 Yearbook
There are only 300 copies of the 2011 yearbook left and there are over 3000 students that have not yet
purchased their yearbook. Please go to the Pennsbury High School website at:
http://www.pennsbury.k12.pa.us/pennsbury/PHS/ for information on placing your order.
Congratulations to our 2010-2011 Music Mentors!
Now in its 10 th year, the Pennsbury Music Mentors Program gives our advanced music theory students the
opportunity to work side-by-side with experienced music teachers, observing lessons, participating in
classroom experiences, and with supervision, teaching mini-lessons.
Congratulations to our participating AP® Music Theory III students; namely, Francesca Beavers, Colin
Davis, Jeffrey Fissinger, Emily Holley, Charles (CJ) Knodel, Ashley Mitchell, Isabelle Punchatz, and
Nicholas Stern.
