Homecoming
Game!
For our homecoming game Fort Myers
went up against Island Coast’s football
team. Light showers and thunderstorms
caused a game delay. As usual, the boys
played a great game, but so did Island
Coast. The even match up sent the teams
into over time. Even though the team may
have lost by a field goal, the rain did not
ruin the Fort Myers High spririt as everyone
had a great time at the homecoming
dance the next day!
VOLLEY-
BALL: The
Juniors and
Seniors face off
in one of the
year’s most exciting
events!
Seniors played
to defend their right
as the older more experienced
class and
the juniors seeked
to grab a win to
prove they are the
new top dogs. Juniors
won the coin toss, so
they served first. Starting
off well, the seniors
took the lead. Surprisingly,
the juniors
came back and
tied the game. In
the end, the seniors won the first set
with a score of 25-18. Going into the
second game the juniors were determined
to crush their opponents. With
a combination of hard work, good
