CE Continuum
Intra-Lock in cooperation with local
doctors, dental laboratories and/or
organizations, sponsor continuing
dental eduction programs designed
to provide general practitioners,
specialists and their dental support
teams (staff & lab) with a menu of
topics that will be of interest to all.
This FlatOne ® Abutment System for
full-arch reconstructions workshop
is co-sponsored by Intra-Lock ® and
Peterson Dental Laboratory.
The courses are also planned to be
relevant across the broad spectrum
of professional knowledge and skills,
from the beginner to the master. Each
National Program is further enriched
by the input from local practitioners in
order to provide the most meaningful
experience for the participants.
www.intra-lock.com
Who Should Attend:
Clinicians who want to learn how
to perform a full-arch dental reconstruction
utilizing a highly esthetic,
screw-retained metal bridge instead
of a hybrid denture. In addition to
being a superior restoration, this procedure
can be completed, from start
to fi nish, in as little time as 72 hours
and at less cost than a hybrid denture.
The course participants should be
adept at performing all phases of
full-arch reconstructions; including
surgical and restorative procedures.
It is also highly recommended that
the clinician’s laboratory technician
attend this course (at no extra cost).
This will enable the highest possible
degree of coordination and effi ciency
to take place during this type of
reconstruction, and will ensure that
the maximum amount of work can
be accomplished in the minimum
amount of time. During this course,
the laboratory technicians will spend
time in the laboratory and will receive
personalized instructions from the
laboratory team.
• Surgeons
• Periodontists
• Prosthodontists
• Implantologists
• Laboratory Technicians
The FlatOne Abutment System
in Full-Arch Reconstructions:
A Workshop for Clinicians and
Laboratory Technicians
Intra-Lock ® International
THE FLATONE ® WORKSHOP
The FlatOne ® Abutment System is designed for full-mouth rehabilitation cases
that require cross-arch splinting. This in-depth seminar and workshop is
designed to present a comprehensive overview for both clinician and laboratory
technician. The course is limited in participation to enable the maximum amount
of personalized attention given to each participant.
The Intra-Lock ® FlatOne ® Abutment System is characterized by having a broad,
fl at occlusal table. This eliminates the need for parallelism and is ideal for
screw-retained bridges and bar cases. The wide platform also ensures an ample
distribution of load. A screw-retained, chrome cobalt framework unites the abutments
and provides an extremely strong foundation for the fi nal restoration. This
treatment modality has the advantages of providing the patient with a highly
esthetic, functional restoration in a very short period of time.
Another advantage of the FlatOne ® Abutment System is that a full-arch bridge
can be completed in a remarkably short period of time (72 hours in most cases)
without resorting to a “screwed-on denture”. This is due to the streamlined,
coordinated technique that enables both the dentist and the laboratory technician
to work together in a highly effi cient, closely coordinated manner.
During this course, all of the procedures necessary for both the clinical and laboratory
phases will be examined in detail. The participants will follow documented
cases from the diagnosis and treatment planning phases through the surgical
phase to the laboratory and restorative phases.
This two-day course will be conducted by a team of professionals who bring
expertise to all areas of treatment. This includes the surgical, restorative and
laboratory phases.
• Overview and introduction
• Full mouth reconstruction concepts and principals
• Procedures for both the clinical and laboratory phases
• Documented cases… diagnosis, planning, surgery, restorative
• Laboratory workshop
