one of the largest black<br />
folk art collections <strong>in</strong> the nation.<br />
The <strong>Texas</strong> Black Women’s<br />
Archives, the Dallas County<br />
Black Political Archives, the<br />
Freedmen’s Cemetery Collection<br />
and a center for <strong>African</strong><br />
American religions are all part<br />
of the museum’s collections. Lectures,<br />
exhibits and festivals that<br />
celebrate <strong>African</strong> American<br />
heritage are also held<br />
