REMOVING THE OVEN DOOR COMPONENTS<br />
Electrical Shock Hazard<br />
D<strong>is</strong>connect power before servicing.<br />
Replace all parts and panels before<br />
operating.<br />
Failure to do so can result in death or<br />
electrical shock.<br />
1. Unplug microwave oven or d<strong>is</strong>connect<br />
power.<br />
2. Lower <strong>the</strong> bottom cover (see page 4-2 for<br />
<strong>the</strong> procedure).<br />
3. To remove <strong>the</strong> oven door:<br />
a) From <strong>the</strong> bottom of <strong>the</strong> oven, press<br />
<strong>the</strong> locking arm on <strong>the</strong> user interface<br />
board (UIB) connector to d<strong>is</strong>engage it,<br />
and d<strong>is</strong>connect <strong>the</strong> connector from <strong>the</strong><br />
chass<strong>is</strong> plug.<br />

b) Open <strong>the</strong> microwave oven door.<br />
c) Remove <strong>the</strong> screw at <strong>the</strong> top of <strong>the</strong><br />
oven door hinge.<br />
d) Close <strong>the</strong> oven door but do not latch it.<br />
Lift <strong>the</strong> door, unhook <strong>the</strong> bottom hinge<br />
pin from <strong>the</strong> bracket, and remove <strong>the</strong><br />
door.<br />

e) Lay <strong>the</strong> oven door face down on a<br />
padded surface to protect it.<br />
f) Pull out and unclip <strong>the</strong> door wire channel<br />
from <strong>the</strong> chass<strong>is</strong> cutout.<br />
