Spare Parts PP7, PP17-I, PP17-II Equipment Manual Release 06/98 The memory module is available as a spare part for all the Push Button Panel unit versions. All the parameters concerning the interface to the PLC are stored in the Push Button Panel memory module. In cases where the unit electronics or the entire unit are replaced, the interface need not be reconfigured. Only the old memory module needs to be transferred to the new unit. If the Push Button Panel memory module is defect, the message EEPROM ERR appears in the display in both normal operation and hardware test mode. In this case, the memory module must be replaced. The following spare parts are only available for the PP17-I unit: Standard keyboard Electronics Front panel 9 It is not necessary to remove the Push Button Panel from the cabinet in order to install the spare parts. Even the 22.5 mm elements, individually installed and connected by the customer, can remain in position. 9-1
