Overview<br />
The <strong>91</strong> Express Lanes status reports for the months of May 2012 and June 2012<br />
have been prepared for <strong>State</strong> <strong>Route</strong> <strong>91</strong> <strong>Advisory</strong> <strong>Committee</strong> review. The reports<br />
highlight operational and financial activities.<br />
Recommendation<br />
Receive and file the <strong>91</strong> Express Lanes Monthly Status Reports for the months of<br />
May 2012 and June 2012.<br />

4. Adopted Toll Policy for Riverside County Transportation Commission<br />

Overview<br />
As part of the Riverside County Transportation Commission’s proposed<br />
extension of the <strong>91</strong> Express Lanes a toll policy for the Riverside County portion<br />
of the facility and an investment grade traffic and revenue study were prepared<br />
to support long-term toll revenue projections and a project financing in 2013.<br />
The toll policy and traffic and revenue study were adopted by the RCTC Western<br />
Riverside County Programs and Projects <strong>Committee</strong> May 21, 2012 and the full<br />
Commission at its June 7th, 2012 meeting. This report presents the adopted toll<br />
policy and traffic and revenue study.<br />

5. <strong>State</strong> <strong>Route</strong> <strong>91</strong> Widening Project Update<br />

Orange County Transportation Authority<br />
The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) and the<br />
Orange County Transportation Authority (OCTA) are working together to improve<br />
<strong>State</strong> <strong>Route</strong> <strong>91</strong> (SR-<strong>91</strong>). The SR-<strong>91</strong> Westbound and Eastbound Lane Addition<br />
Project broke ground in August 2011. Currently, the project is more than<br />
half-way done and project completion is estimated for early 2013. The project is<br />
adding 12 lane miles to SR-<strong>91</strong> between SR-55 and SR-241, as well as second<br />
eastbound exit lanes at Lakeview Avenue, Imperial Highway and Yorba Linda<br />
Boulevard/Weir Canyon Road. Gloria Roberts, Chief of Public Information for<br />
Caltrans District 12, will provide an update on project construction through<br />
July 2012.<br />
