<strong>Cooperativa</strong> <strong>El</strong> <strong>Salto</strong> was founded in 1980 and currently has over 100<br />
members. The cooperative is comprised of one large farm of about 300<br />
hectares, which is farmed collectively by several families. All the coffee is<br />
shade grown using over 50 different types of shade trees.<br />
