He has always pointed her out and said, “I wish I had a hundred like her.” Lot 303 is sired by the newly proven sire Trailboss, who sells as Lot 496. If this heifer doesn’t get you excited about that bull, I don’t know what would. She is a moderate to smaller made powerhouse of a red individual. Tons of depth and correctness in a dark red hide. Most importantly, she goes back to one of the most important cow families on the place. • Kris said about Lot 303, “This heifer comes from one of the most valuable cow families in this program. Her grand dam is 9730, a Taz x Iabon that was real old Maine breeding. She’s the spittin’ image of what 9730 looked like as a bred heifer. She’s complete, moderate and cool looking. She’ll make a big ribbed, front pasture kind of donor female. Red females are in big demand.” • 9730 was a leading donor cow in the KBC program that was flushed for six or seven years. She produced many outstanding progeny. She was the mother of many top selling females in this sale, including a Lot 1. She was moderate and huge bodied. Daughters of 9730 sell as Lots 67, 186, 306 and 306A. Granddaughters sells as Lots 5 and 303. • Trailboss sells in this offering as Lot 496. Kris had six calves by Trailboss this past fall. That set of calves includes at least three top ranked heifers in this sale and one $6,500 steer. All of the calves were out of first-calf heifers.
