Yellow Jacket 464
P. E. Angus and Red Angus Bulls / See supplement for preg testing info.
• We think this one is special. She’s huge ribbed, perfect sized and built for major club calf production. This heifer
is one of the stoutest in the sale. She has tremendous body, bone and muscle shape. Females this stout, with this
much look, are hard to find. Her dam is a good granddaughter of Irish Whiskey. Imagine this powerhouse when
bred to many Charolais-cross sires or the black club calf-bred proven producers.
• Yellow Jacket daughters are proving themselves as outstanding producers. Many club calf sires come and go, but
when their daughters work, that’s what keeps them from fading away. We sold $150,000 of progeny from one
Yellow Jacket daughter in 2012. Lautners’ new Dakota Gold is a $76,000 bull produced from a Yellow Jacket
daughter. 27 daughters of Yellow Jacket sell in this offering; they can be found in the black-hided and Charolaishided
divisions. This kind of offering is unprecedented, and this heifer leads the pack. You will find many just like
her throughout this catalog. Many of them are donor caliber and have the quality to raise major top sellers.
