Disabled swimming clubs
Goole Splashers
encourages people
with any disability to
enjoy swimming for
leisure, therapy or
competition in a safe
and friendly
environment.
They provide help or
supervision as required
for individual members to ensure maximum
benefit and fun from each session.
The club is one of four in the East Riding of
Yorkshire Disabled Sports Association
(ERYDSA), which actively fund raises to
provide sport opportunities for people with
disabilities. They rely on subscriptions and
fundraising to help pay for sessions, club insurance,
social events and any pool
equipment needed.
Their affiliation to Disability Sport England
provides access to training and competition
on a regional, national or international basis.
The club caters for a wide range of
disabilities – temporary or permanent
– from arthritis, MS or limb injury
rehabilitation to learning or sensory
disabilities – all are welcome.
Goole Splashers club takes place in
Goole Leisure Centre on Mondays, 7 -
8.30pm - all ages welcome.
