1310. 'host Member State' means the Member State in which an insurance or reinsurance<br />
intermediary has a branch permanent presence or establishment or provides<br />
services and which is not its home Member State ;<br />
1412. 'durable medium' means a durable medium any instrument which enables the<br />
customer to store information addressed personally to him in a way accessible for<br />
future reference for a period of time adequate to the purposes of the information and<br />
which allows the unchanged reproduction of the information stored. as defined in<br />
Article 2(m) of Directive 2009/65/EC; In particular, durable medium covers<br />
floppy disks, CD-ROMs, DVDs and hard drives of personal computers on which<br />
electronic mail is stored, but it excludes Internet sites, unless such sites meet the<br />

(15) 'cross-selling practice' means the offering of an insurance service or product together<br />
with another service or product as part of a package or as a condition of taking<br />

(19) 'tying practice' means the offering of one or more ancillary services with an<br />
insurance service or product in a package where this insurance service or product is<br />
not made available to the consumer separately.<br />
(20) 'bundling practice' means the offering of one or more ancillary services with an<br />
insurance service or product in a package where this insurance service or product is<br />
also made available to the consumer separately but not necessarily on the same terms<br />
or conditions as when offered bundled with the ancillary services.<br />
