UN/EDIFACT D97.A <strong>OSTRPT</strong> - <strong>Order</strong> status report message<br />
In this diagram, the rectangles represent data entities and the ovals show us the relationship<br />
between two data entities. How often a relationship can exist between two data entities is<br />
given in both directions and is specified as 0, 1, N.<br />
- 0 means that there is no relationship between the entities.<br />
- 1 means that there is one and only one relationship between the entities.<br />
- N means that there are many relationships between the entities.<br />
- 0,1 means that there can be no or one relationship between the entities.<br />
- 1,N means that there can be one or many relationships between the entities.<br />
- 0,N means that there can be no or many (one or more) relationships between the<br />
entities.<br />
Example relationship between <strong>Order</strong> and <strong>Order</strong> item<br />
1. In the direction from <strong>Order</strong> to <strong>Order</strong> item.<br />
An <strong>Order</strong> can have one or many <strong>Order</strong> items.<br />
2. In the direction from <strong>Order</strong> item to <strong>Order</strong><br />
An <strong>Order</strong> item always belongs to one <strong>Order</strong>.<br />
