is fulfilled by the SMT 4 with its five-stage magnification changer. Simple attachment facility to<br />

200 years of optical industry in Germany and <strong>Rathenow</strong><br />
Microscopes have been manufractured in <strong>Rathenow</strong> for more than 200 years. This tradition of<br />
microscope making stretches from J.H.A. Duncker, the founder of the optical industry in Germany,<br />
through Emil Busch and his affiliates to the state combine VEB Carl Zeiss Jena.<br />
