Cities success stories: Using ICT to deliver carbon reductions in Europe<br />
This workshop will drill down into the current and future power of publicprivate<br />
partnerships driving energy efficiency initiatives in cities throughout<br />
Europe. Best practices and collaborations between digital industry and local<br />
entities demonstrate a long-term sustainable development model and tangible<br />
positive outcomes to be gained from effective collaborations. DIGITALEUROPE<br />
in association with Eurocities have identified successfully implemented Public &<br />
Private Partnership (PPPs) which inspire intelligent energy solutions for Europe.<br />
The workshop will open the debate and provide ideas for improving our<br />
approach to energy efficiency.<br />
Workshop on cross-border infrastructures<br />
This workshop will address the various issues of co-management from construction<br />
to maintenance of cross-border joint infrastructures. These issues include the<br />
establishment of objectives, implementation, co-financing and procurement, as<br />
well as the sustainability of cooperation. The workshop will highlight examples<br />
of joint infrastructure management within the EU and between EU and non-EU<br />
regions. Additional interpretation language: Russian.<br />
