The Missouri Counties of Franklin, Jefferson, St. Charles, St. Louis and St. Louis City. The Illinois<br />

Counties of Madison, Monroe and St. Clair<br />

FUNCTION:<br />

Provides a forum through which local governments work together to make planning & policy decisions<br />

regarding the St. Louis region. As the regional council of governments & metropolitan planning<br />

organization, the Council's activities are directed toward a series of important goals, including a growing<br />

economy, a clean and healthy environment, safe communities, efficient and balanced growth, and a<br />

well-functioning multi-modal transportation system. The Council works with local governments, citizens,<br />

and a host of other regional, state and federal agencies toward these outcomes.<br />

The last Wednesday of each month (no meetings in August and December), at 10:00 AM
