The maximum outdoor experience with minimal means.
Story of the Exped
Goose
In 1981, deep in the
wilderness of the
Northwest Canadian
Territories, Exped
founders Andi and
Heidi Brun lived for 9
months using simple
tools and food gathered
from Nature. Nothing
impressed them
more than the serene
movements of the wild
geese flying over head.
Who in the world is Exped?
Exped means Expedition Equipment.
Since 1997, the Exped Team has
designed and built the highest quality,
specialized gear for the active, outdoor
enthusiast. Such equipment is designed
to appeal to everyone from the casual
hiker of the Appalachian Trail to the
technical climber in the Himalayas.
Every user expects his equipment to
meet exacting requirements, and at
Exped, we build products intended to
surpass those expectations!
Eight years of Exped
a > Easy setups:
- slide poles into sleeves
- secure poles into pockets
- tension.
And that’s it!
Continuous sleeves allow poles to
easily pass through intersections.
Canopies are factory mounted, and
just a few stakes and guy lines are
needed to pitch any Exped tent.
Color coded poles and sleeves
eliminate guesswork.
Reflective, glow-in-the-dark zipper
pulls are easy to locate.
Round shaped doors are easily
operated with just one hand.
2 types of pole sleeves:
Exterior sleeves for easy setups; or,
interior sleeves for better weather
protection and reduced wind
resistance.
Models with the Exped-developed
“flat pole sleeves“ offer advantages
of both interior and exterior
sleeves. [Vela I, Vela II, Venus II
Extreme, Sirius, Andromeda]
8
What makes Exped tents so unique?
b > Strong and weatherproof: bombproof
shelters are created by
combining wind shedding designs
with strategically placed, dual
guy points on each sleeve. Lines
attach directly to pole structures for
superior stability in any weather.
Enhanced aerodynamics with Flat or
Interior Pole Sleeve designs.
Totally waterproof shelters with
factory taped seams, polyester core/
cotton wrap thread, and taped or
seamless bathtub floors.
>
Features
Attention paid to every detail...
c
< d
< e
f >
< a
c > Excellent ventilation: even in rainy
conditions, condensation is kept to
a minimum by large opposed vents.
This design promotes a chimney
effect to maintain air circulation.
No-See-Um panels on the canopy‘s
doors adjust from inside the tent
to control ventilation. Careful
attention to design ensures there is
no contact between fly and canopy.
e > Integrity: Keep it simple and
reduce weight - care is taken to
use simple, proven designs and
hardware. Examples include toggle
and loop connectors and adjustable
pole tension pockets. Of course, field
repairability goes without saying!
f > Natural, pleasing colors: warm
yellow interiors are pleasant and
relaxing, even when stormy weather
keeps you inside the tent.
Earthy, green color rainflies blend
with nature; or, bright, terracotta
color rainflies are easily spotted in
bad weather or from a distance.
d > Loads of space: unique Exped designs maximize
usable interior space with steep side walls and
large, protected vestibules. Vestibules provide ample
space for storage and cooking*. Models with
dual vestibules and entrances offer easy access
and eliminate “trauma by kick“ to a sleeping tent
mate. At least one inner door is large enough for
two people to sit next to one another.
Canopies can be unhooked to increase vestibule
space. Loops and pockets keep the tent tidy.
*If cooking inside the vestibule, always prime and
light stoves at a safe distance from the tent.
Multi-functional and simple use:
- Inner canopies can stay attached to
rainfly at all times;
- Rainfly can be used alone for storage
or for basic shelter;
- Inner canopy can be used alone in
clear weather, with or without a tarp
cover (pole pockets at the corners enable
this configuration);
- Unhook part of the canopy to increase
the space beneath the fly;
- Numerous zipper sliders allow the
door to be opened in many different
positions.
Freestanding and spacious:
- Most models are either freestanding
or require just a few stakes*. Such
designs enable Exped tents to be easily
moved to a new location or to be
cleaned by shaking overhead. Developed
by Exped, the “ridge tunnel tent“
is a new type of structure that combines
a Tunnel design‘s maximum usable
space with the Dome‘s freestanding
capability.
*With any tent, a few stakes ensure
that a tent is not carried off by
the wind.
Easy maintenance:
- Tent poles‘ end caps remove easily
to adjust the shock cord in changing
weather conditions or to replace
a broken pole section.
- Pole tension pockets are made with
strong, but simple materials (webbing
and a small pole section). In
the event of a failure, such materials
can be repaired any place and do not
depend upon plastic parts that can
break at the worst times.
- All Exped tents include spare parts:
zipper sliders, adhesive patch fabric,
and emergency pole repair segments.
Easy packing:
- Specific length pole sections allow
the packed tent to fit square into
most large packs, and uniform length
pole sections mean that just one section
can address most any situation;
- Long, narrow accessory pockets occupy
small spaces when packed;
- Side entry packsacks surround the
rolled tent without effort or strain.
Quality materials:
- Non-Extreme models‘ rainfly fabric is
strong, lightweight ripstop polyester:
UV-resistant and meets CPAI-84 flame
retardant guidelines. Extra strong PU
coatings on the fabric‘s underside offer
long wearing waterproofness.
Practical packsack. Versatile. Freestanding. Field maintainable.
- Extreme models‘ fly fabric is a strong,
super lightweight, double silicone
coated ripstop nylon with improved
UV- and tear-resistance. However,
silicone coated fabrics do not meet
CPAI-84 fire retardant guidelines. (See
tent models for specifics).
- All Floors are made from durable, taffeta
nylon with heavy PU coatings;
have a waterproof rating of 14+ PSI
(10,000+ mm) water pressure; and are
either factory seam taped or seamless
to maximize strength.
- Mosquito netting is an ultra fine, very
UV-resistant No-See-Um polyester.
- Poles are state-of-the-art extruded,
seamless aircraft DAC 7001-T6 aluminum
- very rigid but soft enough to
yield in strong wind. DAC poles snap
back to position without breakage or
damage to the fly. And DAC poles are
less likely to burr if they do snap together.
- Reliable YKK zippers in the fly and canopy
are sewn smooth side out to reduce
exposure to dirt, which could
cause premature wear.
- Aircraft aluminum stakes are provided
in two grades: V-profile stakes for
hard ground; ultra lightweight, Uprofile
stakes for soft earth.
- Ample Guy Lines include special, adjustable
tensioners that secure around
most fixed objects without complicated
knots. Key lines are provided with
Exped‘s own, Cord Stuffsacks (also
available separately).
- Guy Lines and Zipper Pulls feature silver
colored threads to improve visibility
and help avoid accidents. Zipper
Pulls glow, and are color coded and
reflective for easy handling. Sheaths
and cores can be separated to increase
usable length.
Quality workmanship:
- Lap-felled seams (4 inter-wrapped fabric
layers) are single or double factory
taped. Stress points are reinforced
with extra-duty patches and
are sewn with crossover stitching to
better distribute forces over larger
areas of fabric.
- Thread used throughout is ‘polyester
core, cotton wrap’ that expands when
wet to fill needle holes in edges,
ground reinforcements and silicone
treated fabrics.
9
Warranty and service:
Exped tents carry a 5 year,
limited warranty on
defects in workmanship
and materials. At its
discretion, Exped will repair
or replace any part
that fails due to manufacturing
defect. Failures
due to normal wear, negligence,
accidents and
acts of nature can usually
be repaired for a nominal
charge. Please see
c >
b >
< e
> New Zipfree door: just
pull the cord to raise
the door - no zipper to
snag or admit water. Of
course, no zipper saves
weight! And without the
obvious entrance, Vela I
offers improved safety
from quick thefts of
opportunity.
< d
ends into grommets.
Seat the end poles and
pull tight with stakes.
Vela‘s V-shaped guy line
configurations allow
it to be set up almost
anywhere, even on nonlevel
ground.
a > Large vestibule, easily accessed from inside Vela I, is large
enough for all the gear. The door is easily raised to offer a view
but still protect from the elements.
b > Large floor plan is especially long and wide, making it possible
to bring gear inside or to help out a stranded, second person.
c > Ventilation is maximized with the storm proof design. The rainfly
can be rolled up from either end, and both ends of the canopy
have easily accessed, mesh windows. The roof has a hood
protected vent to improve the chimney effect. And the foot end
is aerodynamically shaped to be completely tied down to face a
high wind.
d > Tie down loops attached to the pole sleeves offer maximum
efficiency.
e > Ingenious, flat pole sleeve improves aerodynamics in wind and
rain. Double seams and stitching offer extreme strength.
f > Setup requires just 2 stakes. Additional tie down loops make Vela
I absolutely storm proof!
sliding tension pocket for easy and quick pitching.
c > Dual, large doors operate with one hand and are wide enough for
two adults to sit side by side.
d > Ultra fine No-See-Um netting defends against the smallest
creepers and fliers. Nearly vertical walls minimize the possiblity
of nighttime contact and annoying biting insects.
e > Freestanding construction minimizes the need for stakes.
(Corners should be staked to prevent sudden trips in a high
wind).
f > Rainfly‘s hoods offer adjustable venting and rain protection
above the entrances. Roll the rainfly up on one or both sides
Calling all enthusiasts... want to travel light? Need fast set up? Demand years of use?
highest ranking in its in depth, tunnel tent test!
- Backpacker, April 2003
> Flat pole sleeve
reduces resistance to
wind, snow and driving
rain.
a > Fast and easy setup: Exped’s innovative flat sleeves are accessed
from outside the fly and end with adjustable tension pole
pockets. And with the canopy already attached, setup goes
quickly: slide poles into the sleeves; seat ends into the pockets;
tension. With just 4 stakes to set, sleep is not far off!
b > Storm proof: Flat pole sleeve technology makes Sirius more
aerodynamic and strengthens the pole sleeve seams. For bad
weather conditions, ample loops and pre-mounted guy lines are
included (stored in Cord Stuffsacks). Double guy line loops grip
the pole sleeves to keep the fly from flapping in bad weather.
c > Large, adjustable door: tucks away into a side pocket; opens
to a variety of positions for ventilation; or, use poles and guy
lines for covered protection. A side wing can also be used as an
entrance.
d > Venting and viewing: windows open completely from inside
Sirius and are reinforced with mosquito netting to block the
bugs. Windows help to reduce condensation in rain, and simple
supports of pole repair tube keep the vents open at all times.
e > Easy handling all the time: zippers have color coded, reflective,
glow-in-the-dark pulls and are easily operated with one hand.
f > Multi-Use: Canopy is easily unhooked and pushed back for some
extra floor space, or it separates easily for use as a lightweight,
bug shelter. Rainfly offers basic shelter when reduced weight
is needed. And of course used complete... the award winning
“Flat sleeve technology” makes Andromeda very aerodynamic, strong, and super
tight. A cavernous vestibule makes it an incredible storm shelter, but even with all
its features and size, it‘s amazingly easy to use!
Andromeda
+ Andromeda Extreme: aerodynamic and spacious!
> Innnovative, flat
pole sleeves reduce
resistance to wind,
snow and driving rain
(compared to raised
sleeves), all with the
same easy setup of other
Exped tents. To further
add strength, seams are
double sewn and taped.
d >
>
> An easily adjusted,
tension pole pocket
is simple to use, even
in low light or rough
weather. Insert a pole
into its pocket and pull
the strap to tension.
Made with very simple
materials, the pocket
is field repairable and
unbreakable.
> Multi-Use: Canopy
is easily unhooked and
pushed back to create
extra floor space, or it
separates easily for use
as a lightweight bug
shelter. Used alone,
the rainfly offers great
shelter when reduced
weight or large storage
is needed.
a > Huge vestibule - large enough to hide a bicycle!
A multitude of loops allows a line to be strung
inside Andromeda, and two people can sit
comfortably in the dry vestibule in the event of
bad weather.
b > Easy setup with Exped’s unique flat sleeves. Poles
slide easily from outside the fly and seat into
convenient, adjustable pockets. And to make it
even easier, the inner canopy comes pre-attached.
With 4 stakes, setup is complete in just a few
minutes!
c > For ventilation and views, windows can be opened
completely from inside and are reinforced with
mosquito netting to stop the bugs. The venting
also helps minimize condensation in rain. Window
supports keep ports open at all times and conceal
small sections of pole repair tube.
d > Storm proof: Flat pole sleeve technology makes
the tent more aerodynamic and strengthens the
pole sleeve seams. For bad weather conditions,
Andromeda includes numerous loops and
premounted guy lines, stored in Cord Stuffsacks.
Double guy line loops grip the pole sleeves to
prevent flapping of the fly in windy weather.
e > Easy handling, day or night: zippers have color
coded, reflective, and glow-in-the-dark pulls that
operate easily with one hand.
f > Doors operate easily with one hand, and the
exterior door is faced with mosquito netting!

weight, the outer tent
can be used for basic
inner tents to create
additional floor space
and stuff them for use as
cushions. Use the extra
space to attach a second
small cabin for more kids
or gear.
a > Easy to pitch: 3 color coded, hooped poles slide
into matched sleeves; each pole secures into
a tensioning pocket; corners and guy lines are
staked. The inner tents are delivered pre-attached,
which means that‘s it! No separate parts to
b > Separate spaces large enough for 3 adults and 2
small kids offer many options. Unhook the smaller
c > 2 tie-down loops on each side of the pole sleeves
assure tautness, even in high winds. Guy lines are
factory installed and store into Cord Stuffsacks.
d > Rainfly is made from ripstop polyester with a
heavy polyurethane coating, which is both UVresistant
added weather integrity.
Arc Tarp is a protective cover for rain or a shady spot for sun. Use it to cover gear, bikes
and visitors. Used with two poles, Arc Tarp creates a large, airy covered area. Without
poles, it is a huge tarp. Width and height adjust - depending on configuration.
> Lots of space with
minimal weight: With
little effort, Arc Tarp
attaches quickly to most
tents and creates added
covered space. Ideally
suited for use with Exped
Sirius, Orion, Venus,
Andromeda, Auriga,
tension pockets. Secure
the cord web to the tent
with the mini-biners and
stake down the guylines.
That’s it!
reduce wind resistance,
while making Arc Tarp
easier to use. Double
stitched, parallel seams
offer extra strength.
>
c
>
Numerous applications:
> Width and height are variable by
adjusting the radius of the arc.
> With two poles, Arc Tarp can be set
up alone to create a large sheltered
area.
> Sun screen for the garden or beach.
> Set up between two tents, two Arc
Tarps facing one another create a
huge family shelter to reduce the
need for a special family tent.
> As a standing height rainfly over a
netting tent, e.g. Southern Cross or
any Exped tent canopy.
> As kitchen tent for cooking or
dining.
b
a > Fast set up: A cord running through loops at
backside with numerous mini-carabiners attaches
easily and tightly to any ‚mother tent‘.
b > Reinforced guyline loops are set directly onto the
pole sleeves for extra stability. Inner and outer
guyline loops make Arc Tarp extremely versatile.
c > Cord Stuffsacks eliminate the chaos of tangled
lines.
d > Fabric is ripstop polyester with a thick PU coating
and factory taped seams. Fabric is also UV
resistant, DWR treated and flame retardant.
e > Besides being a tent extension or tarp with poles,
Arc Tarp functions well as a lightweight traditional
tarp, when the poles are left at home.
> Arc Tarp is the ideal family tent solution: instead
of a big family tent, just connect 2 smaller tents
with 1 or even 2 Arc Tarps. And when the kids
grow older and want their own tent, let them have
one of the small tents on their own.

> Footprints for ground protection beneath tents.
Available for most Exped tent models a footprint
protects a tent floor from abraison, dirt, water and
sun. Shaped like, but 10 cm (4“) smaller than, the
tent floor to prevent rain from collecting between
footprint and tent floor. Also covers the vestibule
floor space to protect the vestibule from dirt and
> New light Gear Loft for tent canopies. Attach to
the tent roof using the adjustable, elastic straps
found in the corners and the center, which prevent
it from sagging under weight. Ideal for storing your
glasses or drying gear. A loop in the middle is ideal
for hanging a light.
> The battle with tangled tent lines is finally over: an
ingenious stuff sack just for cords; offers quick cord
storage but leaves them ready to use the next time
without hassles! Just insert your fingers in the sack,
wrap the line and turn inside out. An extra flap keeps
everything from unraveling. Wow! Leave it to Swiss
ingenuity and efficiency!
> U-Profile stake is light and drives easily. Use in soft
ground.
humidity. Attaches with adjustable, elastic cords.
> Used as a Tarp: a footprint doubles as a tarp
against rain, wind and sun (that is, against excessive
exposure to UV radiation whether at high altitudes or
in dry, sunny places like Australia and New Zealand).
Fits the following tent groups:
> Orion
> Venus II and III
> Sirius
> Andromeda
> Cassiopeia
Great little helper:
> minimal weight, UV-resistant mosquito netting
> attach Stuffsack to guy line with dual loops;
> bright yellow color is highly visible and serves
as a warning flag;
> standard equipment with all Exped tents.
> V-Profile stake is extremely hard and virtually
indestructible. Designed for hard and stony ground
conditions. Drive with mallet. Use a second stake,
held horizontally, to remove the stake.

wicking moisture to interior.
d > High performance fabrics:
Pertex Quantum ® is the lightest,
downproof fabric with such high
abrasion resistance and it repels
“WB“ (WaterBloc) sleeping bags use
Pertex Endurance ® waterpoof (1500
down shift between
chambers and uneven
fill distribution, which
could otherwise lead to
cold spots.
o > Draft tube: zipper
is supported by an
oversized draft tube,
which also divides
the baffle into three
chambers to prevent
down shift.
p > Mat loops: To prevent
movement, 2 attachment
loops can secure a
sleeping mat to the bag
Connectivity: Left and
right zips connect 2+
bags together, whether
for comfort or emergency
warming. YKK #8 left-push
zippers (#5 in center zip
models) connect with most
high quality sleeping bags.
3D baffle design:
Horizontal and vertical
baffles prevent down shift
and eliminate cold spots.
Baffles, constructed of
fine tricot mesh, easily
stand up to the strain of
washing.
Smart accessories:
sleeping bags include a
storage sack of ultrafine,
No-See-Um netting that
does double duty as
bug protection or as a
laundry bag. Stuff sacks,
when included, fold
into themselves to save
space.
Complete sleeping
system: two bags paired
together create a flexible
‘system‘ that adapt to
a variety of adventure
situations. Consider a
down inner with either
a synthetic outer or
compact bivy bag. Exped
considered compatibility
and sizing when
designing its sleeping
bags - some bags are cut
large to accept a second,
inner bag. And, Exped‘s
WB-series bags do it all:
insulation and comfort
in a waterproof and
breathable design.
Complete sleeping system.
Optimal fit: a complete range of
sleeping bags to fit most adults,
depending on body size and sleeping
behaviour. (Remember: an improperly
sized sleeping bag can be cold if too
large or tight, so try it for fit before
buying).
Tested materials: Exped uses well
tested materials from both lab
and field. Independent labs use
internationally recognized standard
tests to evaluate down fill power and
quality, water vapor transmission,
water column, water repellency,
abrasion resistance and tear
resistance. Down tests are offered by
the renowned IDLF (Salt Lake City,
Utah, USA) with each production run.
(Test results available on request).
Field tests are conducted by outdoor
professionals, including Erhard Loretan
(Himalaya expeditionist with all 14
8000 m summits), Christof Hagen
(wilderness and survival expert), Serge
Lambert (professional mountain guide
with over 30 years of experience),
and, Martin Epp (mountain guide and
wilderness professional). Of course,
numerous other outdoor experts and
the Exped team also contribute.
No cold spots.
Connectivity.
Tested Temperature ratings according
to EN 13597:
The new, Euro-Norm temperature rating
for sleeping bags is designed to provide
comparability between different
bags and across brands. A certified laboratory
measures the heat loss in a
climate chamber using a dummy attached
to 16 sensors. Men and women
have different comfort experiences
when exposed to the same temperature
conditions, hence there is a different
comfort rating given for women than
for men. The “Lower Extreme” temperature
is defined as the point at which
a man gets cold but without shivering.
The “Upper Comfort” temperature
is defined as the point at which one
begins to feel so hot that the sleeping
must be opened to vent. Note: The results
for a given sleeping bag can vary
between different individuals.
The waterpoof WB (WaterBloc)
Series: The agony of choice is over:
Down or Synthetic filled sleeping bags?
Historically, goose down filled bags
offered higher quality and features,
but synthetics performed better in wet
conditions.
Tuck-stitch design.
But now, at least this dilemma is
history, because Exped has delivered
a unique, waterproof and breathable
goose downfill collection of sleeping
bags: Ibis WB, Woodpecker WB, Swan
WB and Arctic Goose WB!
Exped solved this problem by replacing
sewn seams with high-frequency
welded seams. Thousands of needle
holes that allowed water to reach the
goose down and rendered the bag
useless are now gone! Warm air is
stopped from being pushed out during
sleep. And seams are double welded
for added strength and durability.
The WBs are both waterproof and
vapor permeable. Even in the worst
weather conditons, there are no
problems with condensation due to
vapor emitted by the body.
31
Still a skeptic? Then don‘t take our word
for it! Highly respected, outdoor experts
were eager to test a “WB“ bag, and all
were quickly sold! Here‘s what a few of
them said:
Christof Hagen, founder of Survival-
Outdoor-School SOS, offers: “Especially
for my igloo courses, where melt water
and condensation are totally normal, I
always used synthetic filled bags. The
Swan WB made me change my habits.“
Stephan Sigrist, extreme mountain
climber and UIAA Mountain Guide,
states “The WB [sleeping bag] was a
super 1AA++ choice for me, even in cold
and humid Patagonia a bivy bag was
unnecessary.“
Warranty and Repair Service: Every
Exped sleeping bag carries a 5 year,
limited warranty. Products with defects
in materials and workmanship will be
Never underestimate the sleeping mat;
in fact, some consider it more important
than the sleeping bag!
Exped sleeping pads will draw you into restful slumber. With six, remarkably
comfortable collections, the hardest decision is knowing which pad to leave at home!
Consider the overview; then decide.
To properly insulate against cold
ground, a pad should provide both
insulation and comfort that comes
from full body support. Consider the
following: a mat‘s R-value (lab test);
a sleeping bag‘s temperature rating;
personal sleeping habits; and, your
current gear! Exped pads are made
from polyurethane-laminated cloth
(an airtight film instead of the more
common lightweight coating), which
is high frequency welded. Fabrics are
highly abrasion resistant. Comfortable,
textured surfaces prevent slipping but
still permit normal turning during the
night. Dark colors dry
quickly, and storage sacks,
included with most pads,
are generously sized for
easy packing.
Exped Downmats: super comfortable, infinitely warmer and more compact than any other
comparable mat of similar weight. Since down compresses so well, Downmats also packs
very small. Unique pump-packsack doubles as both bellows-pump and pillow.
> Heat loss is dramatically reduced with down insulation inside the mat, as demonstrated by
EMPA, the Swiss Federal Labaratories for Materials Testing and Research, and field tests by
expeditions. The thick cushion of air also provides comfort and smooths out uneven ground. And
as down compresses extremely well, Downmats packs smaller than other insulated pad.
> Unique Pump-
Packsack: just connect
the valves and simple,
safe inflation is in the
bag! Use the packsack
to prevent humidity
from reaching the down,
which otherwise could
cause the goose down to
clump or freeze.
Stuff the pump sack with
clothes to make a great
pillow. (Packsack can
be fixed to the mat).
The sack is completely
waterproof. Downmats
can be filled with as few
as 10 pumps (about 2
minutes). The inflation
process is assisted by
the down‘s tendency to
expand (once in camp,
just lay out Downmat
with valves open).
> For Downmat 9 Exped received the
2002/3 European Outdoor Award,
Europe‘s most prestigious outdoor
award. Presented by Europe‘s leading
outdoor magazines, there is just
one winner each year. Besides the
mat‘s sheer warmth, this award was
presented to Exped in recognition of
the Downmat‘s superb performance and
overall value.
a > Two wide mouth valves ensure fast inflation and
simple deflation. Just one quarter turn closes the
valve.
b > Similar to a sleeping bag, baffles between the
mats‘ chambers eliminate cold spots and promote
a stable and supportive air cushion.
c > Light foam blocks at the mat‘s ends prevent down
from escaping or migrating between chambers.
d > Laminated polyester fabric is both durable and
airtight. Top surface of honeycomb textured fabric
provides superior slip resistance and comfort
next to the skin. Seams and valves are all highfrequency
welded (most secure method of fusing
fabrics and materials) to ensure mat integrity.
Dark colors dry quickly.
> For use as a pillow, 2 loops at head end can be
used to secure the packsack to the mat.
> Light and warm: According to EMPA‘s test
(SOP00749) the 9 cm Downmats offer a heat
resistance value of 1.6. At about the same weight,
a standard 2.5 cm self inflating mat offers a value
of 0.5, or, just 1/3 that of the Downmat! Further
EMPA tests demonstrated that regular mats lose
3x more heat to cold ground than to the air. The
conclusion: use a lighter weight sleeping bag with
a Downmat to achieve consistent overall comfort,
and still reduce weight and bulk!
> Exped uses only IDFL-certified, 700 in 3 /oz goose
down, treated with Nocar to eliminate the effects
of humidity that may reach the mat‘s interior.
