o Bob Shoup for his willingness to do the trim work in the “Living Room” where Jay’s
office was.
o Vern & A. J. Lenz who have put the Oak Base in the “Living Room”. Vern originally did
all of this for our previous Fellowship Hall. The gift is now twice given.
o Bill & Janith Farnham for the gift for new kitchen carts.
o The LWML for new kitchen shelves in the pantry.
o Five new framed art prints depicting five significant moments in Christ’s life have been
purchased for the Living Room. Copies of the prints are on that wall. We thank: Larry &
Judy Coyle, Karen Lindbloom, Betty Leidholt, John & Velda Bartel and Pastor Urbach.
The artwork will be here before Dedication.
o Thanks also to the many who purchased new tables and chairs for the new Christian
Family Life Center. With the addition of the seven new tables and the 109 new chairs
we can now easily accommodate 240 people. We will have an extended thank you list in a
later bulletin.
The Commercial Dishwasher is now installed and hopefully will see busy service this Sunday at
our LYF Easter breakfast.
Tables and Chairs
Have you been among the legions of hands who have carried tables and chairs up and down stairs,
inside and outside? Well, the Christian Family Life Center should make this a bit better.
We have ordered an additional 7 round tables, which will bring us to 30. We can now
have up to 240 people at one sitting with our own round tables. Craig Bump has donated the first
two of these tables. The other 5 tables have now been signed up for.
We also have ordered 109 more matching chairs for these tables. Craig Bump has donated
the first 16 chairs. The additional 93 chairs have been signed up for.
o For really large events like June 6 we will still need to move some tables and chairs and
rent some as well, but not as many as before.
o We thank Craig for his donation and the excellent pricing on the tables and chairs. A
larger thank you will be in next Sunday’s bulletin.
o The cost of the tables are $176 per table and the chairs are $17 per chair.
We will use the Building Fund account for this. Please note your gift is for the Building
Fund and designate that it is for tables or chairs.
