Weapon Three – The Holy Spirit
When Jesus was Baptized the Holy Spirit came upon Him. It was out of this Holy Spirit power that
Jesus sis all of His works. The same Holy Spirit power Jesus promised to us John 14:26, John 16:12-
15. In John 14:12, Jesus promised that whatever He did on earth we could do. The same source of
power is ours John 7:38-39, Luke 10:18-19.
Weapon Four – Blood of Jesus and our Testimony
Rev 12:7-12 Testimony is telling our story about Jesus’ power and victory over Satan in our lives.
Those people in Rev 12:11 testified about the blood of Jesus and how it cleansed and healed them
and set them free from satans grasp, this cast satan and his demons out.
Weapon Five – Prayer
2 Chron 7:13-15 Prayer is our most powerful weapon. Eph 6:18. Prayer penetrates anywhere at any
time. We can pray on earth and it affects heaven. Act 12:1-11. Prayer releases angels to do their
work. Prayer activates the Lord’s will on earth. Matt 6:9-10. What is the will of god? 2 Peter 3:9.
Weapon Six – Praise
Praise shows forth the awesomeness of God. It declares His great works. It declares who He is and
what He will do. Praise makes the devil tremble. Matt 21:15-16. The strength of Gods people is
praise. Rev 16:13-14. Out of satans mouth come demons. Out of our mouths come praises to our
God. Our praises silence the demons of satan. Ps 149:6-9 our praises bind Kings i.e satans rulers.
Weapon Seven – Binding and Loosing.
Matt 12:29, 16:19, 18:18. We have the power through the authority of Jesus – the foundation stone
of the Church – to make inactive any demon on earth and heaven. We cannot destroy them but we
can bind them from now until Jesus returns. We can cast them out from among us. We can only do
this effectively as we unite and be in agreement. We cannot destroy them or send them to hell, that
is the work of Jesus alone and His time for doing that has not yet come. When He casts out demons
He did not send them to hell.
