Prayer and Fasting<br />
Prayer is our most powerful weapon. As we pray God hears us and His power is liberated. He also<br />
commands His angels to join the battle. Fasting increases the power of our prayers. We give up food<br />
to pray. This shows we have control over our bodily appetites. Satan trembles when he sees Gods<br />
people fasting and praying. Daniel fasted and prayed when seeking God about His people. Dan 9:3<br />
Proud feast. Humble people fast. God hears the prayers of the humble.<br />
Discernment<br />
While in prayer the Holy Spirit will bring discernment. He will show us what to do. He will show us<br />
when to do it. He will show us the name and type of spirit we are to come against. Discernment<br />
comes through visions, dreams, Scripture, a voice, strong thought or/and prophetic word. The Holy<br />
Spirit gives these gifts to the intercessors.<br />
Angels Power<br />
Prayer and fasting releases angels to warfare against the demons. Dan 9:20-21, 10:2-6, Acts 12:5-10.<br />
When satan was cast out of Heaven he took one third of the angels. There are two thirds of them<br />
left to swerve us. Rev 5:11.<br />
Communion<br />
Communion is a powerful weapon against demonic spirits. It reminds them of the work of Jesus on<br />
the cross. By using communion in warfare we are declearing to the demons the statement of Col<br />
2:13-15. Matt 26-29 Jesus said He would drink the wine with us when He came in His Fathers<br />
Kingdom. That Kingdom has come into our heartd. Luke 17:21. When we take communion Jesus is<br />
with us. If this is so we need to be Holy in His presence. The demons flee from the site of the bread<br />
and wine, ir reminds them that they are defeated. 1 John 3:8. The blood of Jesus brings life. Demons<br />
bring death. The symbol of Jesus’ blood makes death demons flee. The bread, Jesus’ body was<br />
whipped for our healing. Is 53:5 Jesus took upon Himself every disease so that we may be healed.<br />
Demons often afflict us with disease. When they see the bread they come fearful because their<br />
disease giving ability is taken from them. Land that has had the blood of people split upon it through<br />
murder, fighting or accident has been cursed. Only the blood of Jesus can redeem it again.<br />
Anointing Oil<br />
Oil is the symbol of the Holy Spirit. It also is used in the ceremony of consecration –setting aside<br />
something for Gods use. When we poor the oil upon the land we are setting it aside for Gods use.<br />
We are seeking God blessing upon the land.
