Flange Border:<br />
Subcut two Fabric S strips into two 1 ½” x 36 ½” strips for the top and bottom borders.<br />
Sew remaining three Fabric S strips together end to end, piecing diagonally. Press the<br />
seams open.<br />
Subcut Fabric S strip into two 1 ½” x 48 ½” strips for the side borders.<br />
Fold and press Fabric S strips in half lengthwise, wrong sides together.<br />
Align and pin raw edge of the folded flange to sides of the quilt.<br />
Stitch flange to quilt top using a scant ¼” seam.<br />
Note: This seam should be hidden after final border is added to quilt.<br />
Folded edges of flange should face center of quilt.<br />
Add flange to the top and bottom of the quilt.<br />
Note: Top and bottom flange will overlap side flange.<br />
