<strong>Quilt</strong> Top Assembly:<br />
Using nine-patch blocks and hourglass blocks, assemble rows of blocks together as shown.<br />
Sew the rows together first, then sew the columns together.<br />
Pay close attention to the direction and placement of the blocks.<br />

Inner Border:<br />
Subcut Fabric P into two 2 ½” x 42 ½” strips for the side borders.<br />
Subcut Fabric P into two 2 ½” x 34 ½” strips for the top and bottom borders.<br />
Sew the Fabric P side borders to the sides of the quilt. Press toward border.<br />
Sew the Fabric P top and bottom borders to the top and bottom of the quilt. Press toward<br />
border.<br />
Second Border:<br />
Subcut two Fabric R into two 1 ½” x 36 ½” strips for the top and bottom borders.<br />
Sew remaining three Fabric R strips together end to end, piecing diagonally.<br />
Subcut Fabric R into two 1 ½” x 46 ½” strips for the side borders.<br />
Sew the Fabric R side borders to the sides of the quilt. Press toward border.<br />
Sew the Fabric R top and bottom borders to the top and bottom of the quilt. Press toward<br />
border.<br />
