An after hours service is provided on a roster. The shop’s rostered ‘on’ duty stay open at night or on the weekend or
public holiday. The addresses and phone numbers of the shops rostered on duty are given in the German
newspapers. All shops have a sign in their window saying the nearest shop open on duty. Additionally, doctors who
are “on-call” over weekends and holidays are listed in the local German newspapers. For residents of Stuttgart, this
would be the Stuttgarter Wochenblatt. In Herrenberg, it would be the Amtsblatt.
