Follow signs to Künsteisbahn. Turn into Georgiweg for ample parking. Open middle September to the end of
March, 9:30 – 12:30 and 15:00 – 18:00. Sundays 9:30 – 12:30 and 13:00 – 16:00. Evenings 20:00 – 22:00 except
Thursdays. Open for roller skating May-August. Skates can be rented.
7.6 Music Teachers and Music Schools
The school runs an extensive after school music program, with flute, clarinet, saxophone, guitar, violin, piano and
drums being taught. New classes will be added if there is sufficient demand and teachers are available. Contact the
music teacher.
Additionally, almost all towns have a Musikschule. Looking in your local phone book or local newspaper will help
you to find the phone number and location of the school nearest you. Generally speaking, you can register anytime
and students begin during the Fall, after Christmas or Spring/Summer term. The Musikschule offers classes from
Kindergarten to Advanced in most instruments.
7.7 Drama
The school sometimes offers drama classes as part of the After School Activities Program.

Offer a Summer Children’s Theatre Workshop over 3 weeks. Also offer the chance to audition in regular
productions and take classes in theatre skills.
7.8 Arts and Crafts
Bühl
Basement of Breuninger in the Stadtmitte, also next to the Rathaus in the Stadtmitte. There is an additional location
of Buhl in Bonladen (near the airport). Large variety of art and craft supplies.

7.9 Gardening
There are several flower and plant shops located right behind the school. Take the road under the
school bridge back to the fields. Take your first left on the small field road and you will find several
stores. Gaertnerei Friederich and Gaertnerei Raff both have nice selections.
Also in the Traenke area directly in front of the school there is a very nice Gaertnerei called Peter
Haag on Chemnitzer Strasse 23.
In addition most OBI stores (see the DYI section) have a large garden department with reasonably priced plants and
many gardening and outdoor accessories and supplies.
