FYA Summer Camp
There are three great Ferndale
Youth Assistance Summer Camp
opportunities for students this year:
•Camp Skyline July 14-19
(overnight camp – ages 7-14)
•City of Ferndale Day Camp
beginning June 24 @Kulick Center
•YMCA Day Camp beginning June 10
(on Eleven Mile in Royal Oak)
The FYA is offering both overnight
camp SCHOLARSHIPS for Camp
Skyline and day camp scholarships for
ages 5-11 at either The Kulick Center
or the YMCA in Royal Oak. please contact
the FYA office at 248-586-8700.
These scholarships are NOT income
based and children do NOT have to
be attending counseling, etc. through
FYA. The only requirements are that
they attend Ferndale Schools and that
you be willing to sign off on a form
stating that you believe their behavior
will not be an issue at camp.

June 6 and will be reviewed in the

Now Enrolling: Little Eagles Preschool
Little Eagles Preschool is a half-day educational preschool for 3 and 4 year-old Oakland
County residents. It is located in a dedicated classroom with playground access
at Harding Administration Center. Competitive Fees! Now enrolling for Fall 2013.
All of Ferndale School District’s early childhood education programs provide many
reasons to enroll your little one at Ferndale Schools:

• Enrollment Office at Harding Administration Building, Room 1, 2920 Burdette, Ferndale
• The Main Office at Grant Early Childhood Center: 21131 Garden Lane, Ferndale

Return your completed District Enrollment forms and the documents listed in the packet to the Enrollment Office at Harding or the Main Office at Grant.
Appointment
After you complete the District Enrollment, someone from Grant Early Childhood Center will contact you to determine for what program your child is
eligible. Someone from Grant will be available to schedule these appointments throughout the month of June, and after August 10. An appointment will
be scheduled at Grant to complete the forms for that Preschool Program. At your Enrollment Appointment you will get information on class assignment
notification guidelines.
Parent Orientation
You will receive a letter in August with information on Orientation.
At Orientation you will receive valuable information about the Preschool program including your child’s class assignment & schedule!
*The free Preschool programs in the Ferndale School District are located at Grant Early Childhood Center. The programs receive Federal or State funding. These funding sources all
have different requirements for student eligibility. The enrollment appointment ensures that all students enrolled for that program meet those requirements.
