He must fulfill his <strong>du</strong>ty within the FIM International Jury in case of any<br />

disciplinary or arbitration action.<br />

He must represent his organising country.<br />

082.2.8 FIM Technical Delegate<br />

The FIM Technical Delegate is appointed by the FIM.<br />

He must control the <strong>du</strong>ties of the FMNR Technical Stewards.<br />

He must help them to understand and apply the FIM Technical Rules.<br />

He must follow the evolution of technology in the sport and propose ad hoc<br />

modifications to the Technical Rules.<br />

082.2.9 CRT Representative<br />

The CRT may appoint a Representative, in a supervisory role, for each event.<br />

082.2.10 Clerk of the Course<br />

The Clerk of the Course shall be responsible for the application of the<br />

Rules <strong>du</strong>ring the running of the event which shall be under the control of an<br />

International Jury composed in conformity with the FIM Sporting Code.<br />

The Clerk of the Course is responsible for the con<strong>du</strong>ct and efficient running of<br />

the event. He cannot be a voting member of the International Jury. His essential<br />

<strong>du</strong>ties are:<br />

- To ensure that the course is in good condition; that all officials are present<br />

and ready to carry out their <strong>du</strong>ties and that the safety, medical and control<br />

services are on <strong>du</strong>ty;<br />

- To verify the identity of the riders, the correct numbering of the<br />

motorcycles, and that there is nothing to prevent a rider from participating<br />

in the event <strong>du</strong>e to a disciplinary sanction or for any other administrative or<br />

technical reason;<br />

- To postpone the start of a event for an urgent case of safety or for any<br />

other case of force majeure or to proceed with the improvement of the<br />

conditions of the course; to stop an event prematurely or to cancel part of<br />

the course or the entire event;<br />

- To prevent a rider or a motorcycle from starting, or to order his withdrawal<br />

from the event if he considers such action necessary for safety reasons;<br />
