Project Services
The Project Services Division is comprised of Construcon Project
Management, Construcon Services, Planning and Esmang, and
Producon Engineering. Working together as a team, the Project
Services division was responsible for over $24 million in construc‐
on projects. Some major renovaon projects include McLeod
Hall, The Judge Advocate General Legal Center and the Gamma
Knife facility. Great care also went into the restoraon of Jeffer‐
son’s Pavilion IX and the Edgar Allen Poe Room.
Project Services also received a restoraon of sorts. The division
purchased a new construcon soware program, Microso Pro‐
ject, to make project scheduling more efficient. The implementa‐
on of a new esmang program, WinEst, eliminated the use of
older soware.
RESPECT: Getting It Done
The FM Sign Shop supports various customers throughout the Uni‐
versity. As a result of an increase in demand, the division was able
to purchase a new sign‐making machine. This new unit gives the
Sign Shop the capability of producing banners, custom colored vi‐
nyl and digital printing services.
Dedication
Special congratulations to mason/
plasterer Dorjee Damdoo, a native
of Tibet, who became a US citizen
on July 4th 2010 at Monticello. Dor‐
jee is one of the fortunate who are
able to make their dream of natu‐
ralization a reality.
