PROGRAMS 2011/12 Programs and Events at the I-Center Regular meetings were held by a Program Committee. The goals of the committee were: • • • To evaluate program proposals from student organizations. To initiate selected programs sponsored by Bechtel: e.g. International Week, Winter Quarter Discussion Series and the Faculty-Graduate Student Lunch Discussion Series. To coordinate outreach and publicity for our programs. Some of the programs we offer are run directly by the I-Center staff and we also provide assistance to student groups to run their own programs. Most of our events are free and open to the public. Here is a summary of the events which the I-Center organized, or provided a venue for, during the 2011/12 year. Many of these events were presented in conjunction with student groups and supported by funding from the Billie Achilles fund and the Riddle Family Foundation. We would like to thank all of these individuals and groups for their support, and hard work. Without them, the I-Center would not have been able to offer such a range of programs and opportunities. Fall Quarter Events In addition to family programs and events, we hosted 390 evening and weekend events at the I-Center during the quarter.
