• Wildcard Match<br />

<strong>SSL</strong> <strong>Scanner</strong><br />

A wildcard name has been used in a certificate for a host, which matches<br />

the host name provided by the URL.<br />

Whenever a verification process is passed by a certificate in this way, an<br />

action will be executed by <strong>Webwasher</strong>. This could also be an Allow.<br />

• Expired<br />

The certificate has expired.<br />

• Revoked<br />

The certificate has been revoked by the authority that issued it.<br />

• Unresolvable<br />

The status of a certificate could not be resolved.<br />

• CRL Match<br />

The certificate was found on a CRL (Certificate Revocation List).<br />

Certificate Verification<br />

The Certificate Verification options are invoked by clicking on the corresponding<br />

button under <strong>SSL</strong> <strong>Scanner</strong>:<br />

If you want to enable any of these options, make sure the checkbox on this<br />

button is also marked. The checkbox is marked by default.<br />

After modifying the setting of this checkbox, click on Apply Changes to make<br />

the modification effective.<br />

These are policy-dependent options, i. e. they are configured for a particular<br />

policy. When you are configuring these options, you need to specify this policy.<br />
