Properties and Benefits :<br />

PF40 and SF50 ensure a stable Compression Force Deflection<br />

(CFD) over a wide range of compression rate (%), which makes it<br />

possible to compensate for battery cells’ expansion and design<br />

tolerances.<br />

Over battery’s lifetime the foams maintain their properties (very<br />

low Compression-Set and high Resiliency), even under extreme<br />

conditions of temperature and compressive force.<br />

With those properties, they are able to maintain an optimal<br />

range of pressure on cells and maintain thermal contact between<br />

cells and heat sink.<br />

Moreover, PF40 and SF50 protect your cells against shocks and<br />

vibrations, increasing the battery pack safety. They are standard<br />

products whose properties (like CFD behavior) can be adapted to<br />

your design and technical requirements.<br />

If you need a flame retardant interface, SF50 is listed UL94 V0.<br />

Thermal Management<br />

PROTECT batteries against overheating and electrical shorts.<br />

Properties and Benefits:<br />

Our DPL solutions offer a wide range of Thermal Interface<br />

Materials (TIM), ranging from very soft gap pads to firm silicone<br />

rubbers to coated fabrics.<br />

DPL products offer an excellent thermal conductivity, ranging<br />

from 1.0 to 3.0 W/mK, according to ASTM D5470 and ASTM<br />

E1530. They thus enhance interface heat transfer and aid battery<br />

to cool down. Moreover, they are able to homogenize temperatures<br />

across the cells and hence improve battery life time.<br />

In addition to this, DPL products offer an outstanding electrical<br />

isolation (greater than 5 kV/mm), which makes it possible to<br />

protect your cells against any electrical short hazards, improving<br />

greatly the battery pack safety.<br />

DPL products are all flame retardant, most of them being UL94<br />

V-0.<br />

To better meet your needs, they are also offered with reinforcement<br />

options.<br />
