Multi-Purpose PROTECT batteries against vibration, overheating and electrical shorts. Properties and Benefits : MPS is a unique compression sponge (conformable interface material) which combines 3 major properties : 1) It has a very low Compression Set / high resiliency, and it maintains those properties over battery lifetime, even under extreme conditions of temperature and compression. 2) It offers an efficient thermal conductivity and makes it possible to improve cooling efficiency between uneven surfaces. It is able to homogenize temperatures along the battery cells and hence improve battery life. 3) It acts as a good electric insulator and thus protect your battery cells against shorts. MPS is flame retardant (UL94 V0). Sealing PROTECT battery packs from external environment hazards. Properties and Benefits: Our sealing solutions for battery packs offer outstanding water tightness, by sealing out moisture and dust. A very efficient air & water seal is already achieved at only 30 % compression rate. DYNAFOAM and SF12 show a low water absorption and a low Compression-Set (high resiliency), and this over a wide service temperature range. They offer some harder or softer versions to better meet your needs. Thanks to its unique Foam-In-Place system, DYNAFOAM makes it possible to enhance deeply your productivity for large volume applications. Thermal Insulation PROTECT battery packs from external temperature variations. Properties and Benefits : HPI 40.0 brings a very low thermal conductivity (< 0.040 W/mK) even at small thicknesses. It is very light and easy to assemble. It has low oil and water absorption, and can be molded into 3D shapes desired by the customer. If you need a flame retardant interface, SF12 is UL94 V0 listed. Our solutions insulate the battery pack from external temperature variations, which enables to save battery energy and improve its autonomy. Moreover, by minimizing the effect of extreme temperatures which can occur in summer or wintertime, they improve battery lifetime.
