John, the eldest son, did not come to this country until some year s after his father. He settled first at<br />

Marshfield, where he served as r epresentative.<br />

A 1650 Marshfield town record states John Phillips put his son Wm. P hillips unto John Bradford of that<br />

town of Duxborough and his now wife.<br />

He removed about 1660 to Norwich, where he died.<br />

All that remains of John Bradford's estate proceedings is the statem ent that his will was exhibited in court,<br />

accepted, and ordered to be rec orded on 21 September 1676.<br />

On 29 December 1669 he was mentioned in the will of "Allis Bradfor d Sr. of Plymouth widow" as son<br />

Joseph Bradford.<br />

Joseph died at Plymouth 10 July 1715 in his 85th year .<br />

The will of Joseph Bradford of Plymouth, planter, was dated 8 Octobe r 1712, with inventory taken 27 July<br />

1715; it names his wife Jael and so n Elisha. The will was refused probate following testimony that it was no t<br />

written according to the wishes of the decedent.<br />
