RESIDENCE HALL ADVISORY BOARD (RHAB)<br />

Representatives from each hall government meet with the associate dean of<br />

students/direc<strong>to</strong>r of residence life and judicial affairs <strong>to</strong> form the <strong>Residence</strong> Hall<br />

Advisory Board (RHAB). The RHAB discusses and acts upon matters affecting<br />

resident students, facilitates communication with campus offices and student<br />

organizations.<br />

BLACK AND GOLD WEEKENDS<br />

Usually one weekend per month is designated as a Black and Gold Weekend.<br />

Black and Gold Weekends offer many opportunities <strong>to</strong> get involved on campus<br />

and are packed with events, services, performances, trips, and much more.<br />

VII. CONDITIONS OF RESIDENCY AND HOUSING<br />

GUIDELINES<br />

RESIDENCE HALL LICENSE AGREEMENT<br />

The “<strong>Residence</strong> Hall License Agreement” is a contractual license agreement<br />

between the resident student and <strong>Framingham</strong> <strong>State</strong>. The term of the agreement<br />

is the full academic year (fall and spring semester). Like all official contractual<br />

agreements, students are strongly urged <strong>to</strong> familiarize themselves with the terms<br />

and conditions of the agreement. Violations of the terms of the “<strong>Residence</strong> Hall<br />

License Agreement” may result in termination of the <strong>Residence</strong> Hall License<br />

Agreement.<br />

In the event of external fac<strong>to</strong>rs beyond its control, <strong>Framingham</strong> <strong>State</strong> reserves the<br />

right <strong>to</strong> alter or terminate the “<strong>Residence</strong> Hall License Agreement” or alter room<br />

assignment. Residents are strongly advised <strong>to</strong> work with family and have a<br />

personal/family emergency plan in place.<br />

FINANCIAL MATTERS<br />

MAINTAINING RESIDENCY<br />

Students are required <strong>to</strong> pay their bills by stated due dates <strong>to</strong> maintain an oncampus<br />

housing reservation. The submission of the reservation deposit does not<br />

guarantee an on-campus space without meeting ongoing financial obligations,<br />

participating in room selection and remaining in good social standing.<br />
