KPI 4.1 NTCS is engaged on a regular basis, at least twice per year,
with workforce-related activities auspiced by the NT Government
and its agencies / partners.
NTCS met and communicated on a regular basis with members of the
Department of Health and Families in regards to the NT Medical
Program, student accommodation and the Palmerston Super Clinic.
KPI 4.2 NTCS shares joint clinical / academic / research
appointments with at least four other affiliated organisations at any
one time.
NTCS shares joint clinical academic staff positions with Royal Darwin
Hospital and Alice Springs Hospital.
NTCS shares joint clinical academic staff positions with Menzies School of
Health Research in Darwin.
NTCS shares joint Cultural Liaison Officer positions with NT Department of
Health and Families (one located in Darwin, one in Alice Springs).
KPI 4.3 NTCS engages at least annually with at least two general
practice organisations in the NT, addressing workforce issues.
NTCS collaborated with NTGPE in the development of an NTCS database
which provides details of students, supervisors and teaching sites.
KPI 4.4 NTCS participates in at least one project, specifically
addressing workforce in a remote community of interest, with
other affiliated organisations.
NTCS commissioned a feasibility study to develop a GP Teaching Practice
in Nhulunbuy (this led to a successful grant application in 2010 for the
Medical and Allied Health Education Centre).
