System Commissioning
In the commissioning phase of the project, your TMEIC
GE team may include the local field engineers and factory
service engineers, all supported by the engineers who
designed and tested the system. This overlap of teams
between the factory and the plant ensures a smooth and
on-schedule startup.
The local service engineer takes responsibility for the
machine startup and commissioning and is available later if
any service is required at the plant.

We can offer a course tailored to your project and
held at your location.
Complete and Detailed Drive System Documentation
Along with the hardware and software, TMEIC GE
delivers complete system documentation:
• An electronic instruction book with all the prints
on CD with a hyperlink index
• Recommended wiring and grounding
procedures
• Renewal parts list
• Standard third-party vendor documentation
At the end of the project, the drawings are updated
to reflect the final changes.
Customer engineers, service, and operations personnel
are trained on the drives and control system at the GE
Training Center in Salem, Virginia. This world-class facility
has 8 large classrooms, 5 fully equipped training labs, and
offers 61 different product courses to customers.
Classroom and hands-on training consists of 50% class
time and 50% hands-on lab time. Topics include:
• Overview of the drive system
• Function of the main assemblies
• Technical details of the components
• Drive and control system programming using the
Control System Toolbox
• System diagnostics and service
