COUNSELOR-IN-TRAINING (C.I.T.) or<br />

WRANGLER-IN-TRAINING (W.I.T.)<br />

*Prerequisite: At least 15 years old or entering 10th grade<br />

Improve your leadership skills and learn about <strong>the</strong> needs<br />

of children in <strong>the</strong> camp setting. Explore <strong>the</strong> basics of<br />

developing and delivering camp program and camp<br />

operations. W.I.T.’s will shadow riding staff at <strong>the</strong> horse<br />

corral and must have horseback riding experience.<br />

ADVANCED C.I.T.<br />

*Prerequisite: At least 16 years old or<br />

entering 11th grade and completion of<br />

<strong>the</strong> C.I.T. program or its equivalent<br />

Focus on camp management and gain<br />

practical experience in various areas<br />

of <strong>the</strong> camp operation. Practice your<br />

leadership and program skills while<br />

working with younger campers. Sleep<br />

APPRENTICE C.I.T.<br />

*Prerequisite: At least 17 years old or entering 12th grade and<br />

completion of <strong>the</strong> C.I.T. program or it’s equivalent. Fee: $350<br />

Use your leadership and program skills as you work under <strong>the</strong> supervision of camp staff, in units,<br />

or at your favorite specialty area. Carry out an individual project and learn more about camp<br />

management. In an effort <strong>to</strong> provide more flexibility for girls participating in <strong>the</strong> Apprentice CIT<br />

program this summer, each girl will create an individualized schedule with <strong>the</strong> camp direc<strong>to</strong>r<br />

prior <strong>to</strong> <strong>the</strong> start of <strong>the</strong> summer season. This will include attending one of three<br />

orientation weekends and three <strong>to</strong> six of our camp sessions or weekend programs.<br />
