If you had fun attending one of our Under Construction
sessions then this is the program for you. Come work
with Uncle Buck on some special projects to make our
camp even better and enjoy camp activities when you
are not building. Sleep in sleeping cabins. Prerequisite:
Online registration is not available for the following events.
Special registration forms for these events will be available online
or at your service unit meeting beginning in April.
Family Camping at Menzies
Open to: All Girl Scouts and their Families
Dates and times: 5:00 PM, Friday, August 27 to
11:00 AM, Sunday, August 29
OR
5:00 PM, Friday, September 3 to 11:00 AM,
Sunday, September 5 | $40 per child (Children
under 3 are free); $35 per adult
Bring your whole family and experience magical Camp
Menzies! Enjoy swimming, archery (4th grade and up),
arts ‘n’ crafts, hiking, canoeing (water permitting), songs,
games and more! Families provide their own tent or can
request a platform tent or sleeping cabin (first come, first
served). Fee includes staff guided activities, program sup-
plies, food and participation patch. Horseback riding will
be available for an additional fee.
Camp Menzies Close-Down Party
Open to: Girls 4th grade and older and their families (siblings who
wish to attend must be entering 4th grade)
Dates and Times: 10:00 AM, Saturday, September 4 to 11:00 AM,
Monday, September 6 | $15.00 per person
All great things must come to an end. Help to close Camp Menzies
down for the winter. Earn the Camp Menzies Close-Down patch as you
help clean and put supplies away for the winter. When you’re not work-
ing, enjoy craft and nature study sessions as well as optional evening
programs. Meals are provided.
